Commissioning Specialist
Travis Curry joined JHE in January 2026 as a Commissioning Specialist. Prior to joining JHE, Travis worked with Intel’s TD Liquid Industrial Waste Systems group at the company’s Technology Development manufacturing campus in Hillsboro, Oregon. In this role, he was responsible for the operation and commissioning of multiple effluent treatment systems, ensuring proper treatment prior to discharge beyond site boundaries. His work emphasized continuous system optimization across mechanical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) disciplines, with a strong focus on improving utility and chemical usage efficiency, reducing alarm response time, and minimizing system downtime.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming. Throughout his career, he has held diverse technical and field-based roles across the United States, including Rig Hand in the oil and gas industry in Nebraska, Process Engineering Intern at geothermal power plants in California, and Materials and Soils Testing QA in the construction industry in Colorado. These varied experiences provide him with a broad operational perspective and hands-on technical expertise that he brings to his commissioning work at JHE.
