Commissioning Specialist
Travis Curry joined JHEin January 2026 as a Commissioning Specialist. Prior to joining JHE, Travisworked with Intel’s TD Liquid Industrial Waste Systems group at the company’s TechnologyDevelopment manufacturing campus in Hillsboro, Oregon. In this role, he was responsible forthe operation and commissioning of multiple effluent treatment systems, ensuring propertreatment prior to discharge beyond site boundaries. His work emphasized continuous systemoptimization across mechanical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) disciplines, with a strongfocus on improving utility and chemical usage efficiency, reducing alarm response time, andminimizing system downtime.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science inPetroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming. Throughout his career, he has helddiverse technical and field-based roles across the United States, including Rig Hand in the oiland gas industry in Nebraska, Process Engineering Intern at geothermal power plants inCalifornia,and Materials and Soils Testing QA in the construction industry in Colorado. Thesevaried experiences provide him with a broad operational perspective and hands-on technicalexpertise that he brings to his commissioning work at JHE.
