Commissioning Specialist I
Sophia joined JH Engineering in June 2026 as a Commissioning Specialist I. Her roles include developing the commissioning and startup (C&SU) plans for projects, developing and implementing individual system test packages in the field, and reviewing design deliverables for operability, functionality, and constructability. Sophia has a passion for commissioning and troubleshooting, and she is expanding her knowledge in electrical engineering and the many other disciplines connected to work completed by JHE.
Prior to joining JHE, Sophia interned as a firmware engineer at Bently Nevada-Baker Hughes, where she conducted testing on existing systems and optimized system performance. Sophia earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2026.
