Commissioning Specialist I
Rafid Syed joined JH Engineering in June 2026 as a Commissioning Specialist I. He brings experience in industrial water and wastewater treatment, process engineering, and facility operations, including work supporting large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
Prior to joining JHE, Rafid worked as a Wastewater Process Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, supporting industrial wastewater treatment systems and process improvement initiatives. His experience included project management, vendor and contractor coordination, regulatory compliance, process optimization, and equipment upgrades.
Rafid earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering Management. Through his experience in industrial wastewater treatment and process systems, he has developed expertise in troubleshooting, project execution, and technical problem-solving. At JHE, he supports commissioning efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects while continuing to expand his expertise in treatment systems and facility startup operations.
