NATHAN WERTS
Commissioning Specialist
Nathan Werts joined JHE in January 2025 as a Commissioning Specialist. He brings a strong background in pharmaceutical facilities and drug manufacturing, having built his career around the commissioning and integration of complex systems. Nathan began as a Commissioning Engineer for a company specializing in modular cleanrooms for pharmaceutical applications, where he gained hands-on experience with the startup and validation of dynamic systems. He later served as a Process Engineer for a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), focusing on viral vector process development and integrating equipment and facilities to support early-phase large molecule products. These experiences sharpened his expertise in facility development and process commissioning for highly regulated environments.
Nathan is a graduate of Texas A&M University and currently resides in Houston, Texas with his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, video games, working on cars, and a wide range of outdoor activities. He also supports his wife's homesteading ambitions, especially when it comes to baking sourdough. Nathan is an aspiring writer, a passionate follower of the stock market, and a devoted sports fan (Go Birds!).
