JOE SCOTT
Commissioning Specialist
Joe Scott joined JHE in January 2025 as a Commissioning Specialist, bringing with him over 21 years of electrical experience. He spent seven years with the Las Vegas Valley Water District, where he served as both an Electrical/Electronics Systems Technician and a Senior Inspector. During this time, Joe developed deep expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing complex electrical and electronic systems tied to large-scale water distribution infrastructure.
Joe began his career through a rigorous five-year apprenticeship with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 357 in Las Vegas, NV. Over the years, he has contributed to the construction and electrical installation of numerous high-profile projects, including multiple new casinos along the Las Vegas Strip, the Terminal 3 expansion at Harry Reid International Airport, large-scale solar array installations, the Tesla Gigafactory in Northern Nevada, and an Intel microchip manufacturing facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
He is a licensed Master Electrician and a Registered Construction Inspector.
A Las Vegas native, Joe still calls the city home, where he lives with his wife, their four children, three dogs, a cat, and a tortoise. He shares a love of Star Wars with his youngest son—though they remain on opposite sides of the Force. Outside of work, Joe enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding, lightsaber battles, all things space-related, and furthering his knowledge in the ever-evolving electrical field. One of his dreams is to tour Europe with his wife and eldest daughter.
